WORSHIP PROCEDURES DUE TO
Covid 19
As Covid cases continue to drop in Gladwin County, we have altered our worship and fellowship protocols to better match the current community risk level. Below is our current Covid 19 procedures.
• Worshippers may choose whether to wear masks during the Sunday service. The CDC urges those who are at a higher risk for COVID complications or caregivers for such individuals to consult with their doctors and continue masking. Please be aware that those who continue to mask are vulnerable themselves or caregivers for vulnerable family or community members. Even as transmission levels drop, we are called to support and care for these vulnerable members of the Body of Christ. In my role as pastor, I will continue to mask during the service when I am not addressing the congregation so that at risk members may more safely participate.
• We will be returning to the full worship liturgy. This includes the kyrie, additional readings and the passing of the peace. During the passing of the peace we do ask that you refrain from physical contact.
We will continue to keep a number of protocols in place to maintain the health and safety of our community.
• Hand sanitizer will remain available in the pews and we ask that it be applied before communion.
• • For those who cannot join us for in-person worship, for any number of reasons, we offer live streamed worship from our church Facebook page.
• In the event that any of the worship leadership do test positive for COVID-19, worship will be suspended through the following Sunday.
The Christ the King Church Council recognizes that these changes will be good news for some of you, while also causing trepidation for others. Understand that we are making these changes following CDC recommendations and the guidance of the North/West Lower Michigan Synod.

We have also taken into consideration the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of our community. I’ve talked to God about it a fair amount too. II look forward to joining you all in worship this coming Sunday.
